Thunderhead Forms Partnership with Blue Cod

Blue Cod to offer Thunderhead NOW multi-channel customer communication capabilities to small and mid-sized insurance carriers

Blue Cod Technologies, Inc. of Marlborough, MA, a provider of hosted solutions for the property and casualty insurance industry, and Thunderhead, a recognized innovator in document automation and multi-channel customer communications solutions, are pleased to announce a new partnership.

Under the terms of this new agreement, Blue Cod customers can opt to deploy the Thunderhead NOW enterprise technology platform as part of a hosted Blue Cod solution in specific application areas or in specific regions with Blue Cod's extensive BPO operation.  The result will be more robust and advanced communications capabilities for those Blue Cod clients wishing to improve the way they provide service and engage with their policyholders.

Blue Cod selected Thunderhead NOW in part due to its open standards-based architecture, which enables tight integration with its own technology development methods.  In addition, Thunderhead NOW allows a combination of flexibility and control over document authoring.  Using role-based security, Blue Cod can lock down specific sections within a document to ensure that legal text remains static, while still allowing customer service representatives to personalize a document for customers.
