Denplan selects Thunderhead to provide next-generation Customer Correspondence automation
London, Tuesday 8th February
Thunderhead, the provider of highly usable, multi-channel document technology, today announces that the UK's leading dental plan provider Denplan (part of the AXA Group) has selected the Thunderhead Platform to automate the creation and assembly of membership and marketing correspondence to new and existing customers.
Denplan required a solution enabling business user control to streamline the process of building customer communications and the ability to deliver multi-channel communications, whilst at the same time addressing issues of cost reduction and IT resource utilisation.
By implementing the Thunderhead platform Denplan will be able to adopt a flexible approach to customer communication needs and enhance the content of the correspondence. This approach will reduce both the costs associated with developing correspondence and the dependency on IT to develop correspondence. Using Thunderhead's multi-channel delivery capabilities, Denplan can deliver communications according to the customer's preference and test the effectiveness of delivery channels without additional investment.
In addition, the Thunderhead solution will provide Denplan with the ability to provide an integrated view of customer correspondence across business groups and promote a single corporate image for Denplan communications.
Thunderhead will be used to produce all core correspondence (welcome letters, annual payment updates, and dentist reports) as well as bulk mailings, both scheduled (annual mailings to member dentists) and ad-hoc communications (marketing campaigns). The resultant benefits will include reduced costs by simplifying the letter development process, higher quality communications, enhanced customer service, faster response times to regulatory requirements and reduced time-to-delivery of new products and amendments.
"We required a fast, flexible and easy to use correspondence solution to deliver more personalised communications to our customers. Thunderhead was the only solution that offered the full range of capabilities, and true business user control," said Stephen Gates, Managing Director of Denplan Limited. "The Thunderhead platform provides the enabling technology which allows us to deliver Denplan's longer-term correspondence objectives"
"Progressive organisations such as Denplan have identified that advanced document generation capabilities are a valuable tool to deliver customer value and cost control," commented Glen Manchester, Thunderhead CEO. "At Denplan, Thunderhead will ultimately enable the streamlining of the whole communications process to new and existing customers."
