Wesfarmers Federation Insurance Adopts Thunderhead Document Generation Platform

Thunderhead today announced that Wesfarmers Federation Insurance (WFI) has adopted the Thunderhead document generation platform as part of a project to replace its current core insurance application.

Thunderhead will be utilized to generate all customer communications, enabling WFI to enhance the quality of its documents, support multiple distribution mechanisms based on customer preferences and retain copies of all communications to support customer service.

The solution will allow WFI to improve customer service through enhanced documentation for quotes, policies and renewals and automate the generation of other customer communications.

The document creation process will now be fully automated, which will improve operational efficiency, compliance and allow it to be audited,” commented Phillip O’Shea, Information Technology Manager, WFI. “This new approach will put document creation back into the hands of the appropriate business owners.  Thunderhead provides a flexible platform for WFI to extend its current suite of customer correspondence while providing a number of options for how the customer wants to receive this documentation.”
