Banker Awards commends Morgan Stanley and Thunderhead

Industry awards recognise investment bank as it slashes its trade confirmation process from 15 minutes to less than one minute.

Morgan Stanley and Thunderhead’s Document Generation Platform received a commendation at The Banker Technology Awards 2007, for the Back-Office project category.

The investment bank used Thunderhead’s technology to automate the OTC derivative trade confirmations to speed up the their back office procedures.
Since implementing Thunderhead the time it takes Morgan Stanley to process confirmation was slashed from 15 minutes to under one.

As the bank grew by 300 per cent between 2005 and 2006, Thunderhead was able to facilitate and manage the increased documentation accompanying growth without the need for a rise in headcount.
