Working with Thunderhead NOW Business Objects

• Thunderhead NOW Business Objects provide the link between XML data sources and the NOW Dynamic Templates which use the data to create personalized multi-channel communications.

• NOW Business Objects provide the metadata and schemas required for the business logic, rules and communication layouts that are used in the development and design activities of business users using the Business Content Studio.

• NOW Business Objects are intended to reusable enterprise data assets. The Business Object Studio provides a comprehensive toolset and rich visual interface for working with data schemas and metadata from various transactional and database data sources.

• Users use the Business Object Studio to define NOW Business Objects based on data from external sources. The Business Object Studio also provides powerful supporting features such as data validation and allows users to define derived data values and external database lookups, add additional element-specific scripting where required, and of course, import and work with existing XML DTDs and schemas.
