Thunderhead adds firepower to senior leadership with Chief Revenue Officer and European Leader appointments

Industry veterans Rob Coyne and Roy Jugessur join Thunderhead’s executive team to drive further growth

Building on our most successful year of growth to date, we have appointed Rob Coyne and Roy Jugessur as Chief Revenue Officer and Executive Vice President, EMEA, respectively. Thunderhead is the market leader in technology for Customer Journey Orchestration and Analytics, and as businesses in the current climate are more than ever increasing their focus on building customer engagement, the hires support our commitment to helping brands across the world develop lasting relationships with their customers.

In the newly created role of Chief Revenue Officer, Rob will be responsible for all revenue generation and the setting of our global development strategy, including the evolution of our journey orchestration go-to-market plan. Rob brings a wealth of experience, having worked across a number of well-known global software brands and leading Hootsuite as General Manager for Europe. Rob was previously Managing Director at Kenshoo, with stints at both Oracle and SAP.

Roy Jugessur will head up our EMEA Region with over two decades of experience in martech and digital agencies behind him. He’ll be responsible for growing our EMEA client base and deepening existing customer partnerships. Roy comes well prepared, having worked in senior sales leadership roles at Sellingent Marketing Cloud to oversee some of the organization’s biggest deals, including Tesco, Ocado, Samsung and Autotrader. He’s been part of the European Executive Management Team for Experian CheetahMail and Selligent Marketing Cloud, and is also currently an Advisory Board Member for SentiSum, a customer experience analytics platform.

Both are joining Thunderhead at an exciting time in our history; we recently announced the launch of ThunderBay, which will be fully available in Q2 2020. We were also unveiled as Winner in the influential CRM Watchlist for 2020– one of only three brands commended with ‘Distinction’ status, along with Salesforce and Microsoft.
